1. Overview
This Privacy Policy describes how EDGE STACKS LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company (d/b/a “EDGE STACKS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit or make a purchase on edgestacks.ai (the “Site”). By using the Site, you agree to the practices described below. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following limited categories of information:
- Purchase information. When you buy an EDGE STACKS Season Pass or Top-Up, our payment processor, Stripe, collects your email address, billing details, and payment method. We receive a record of the transaction (email, amount, Stripe session and customer IDs, purchase status) but we never see or store your full card number, CVC, or bank account information.
- Account and session data. When you access the app, we maintain session data associated with your account, including your email, entitlement status, and authentication tokens. This data is used to verify your identity and enforce your access tier.
- Analysis usage logs. When you run an analysis in the app, we log metadata about the request: the sport analyzed, a timestamp, and your account identifier. This data is collected to enforce daily analysis limits and monitor for unauthorized access patterns.
- Support communications. If you email us at [email protected], we retain the contents of that message along with your email address so we can respond.
- Basic technical data. Like most websites, our hosting provider logs standard server request information (IP address, user agent, timestamp, pages requested) for security, abuse prevention, and operational purposes.
We do not collect your name, phone number, mailing address, date of birth, government identification, or financial account numbers. We do not use any tracking technology to build advertising profiles that identify you personally. The analytics and marketing tools we use (see Section 5) are loaded only after you consent and collect anonymized, aggregate data.
3. How We Use Information
- To process your purchase and provision your Season Pass or Top-Up entitlement.
- To authenticate your sessions and enforce your access tier and daily analysis limits.
- To send transactional emails related to your purchase (receipts and access confirmation).
- To respond to customer-support inquiries you send us.
- To detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, or unauthorized access, including credential sharing and abnormal usage patterns.
- To comply with applicable law, subpoenas, or other legal obligations.
We do not use your information to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell your personal information to any third party.
4. Service Providers We Rely On
We share the minimum information necessary with a small set of service providers so the Site can function:
- Stripe, Inc. — processes payments and stores card data on their PCI-compliant infrastructure. Stripe’s privacy practices are described at stripe.com/privacy.
- Google LLC (Google Analytics 4). If you consent to analytics cookies via the banner on our Site, we use Google Analytics 4 to collect anonymized usage data (pages visited, session duration, general geographic region). Google processes this data on our behalf under its privacy policy. No analytics data is collected if you decline.
- Meta Platforms, Inc. (Meta Pixel). If you consent to analytics cookies via the banner on our Site, we load the Meta Pixel, a small piece of code that sends anonymized page-view and conversion events (e.g., checkout initiated, purchase completed) to Meta. This data helps us measure the effectiveness of our advertising on Instagram and Facebook. Meta processes this data under its privacy policy. No Meta Pixel data is collected if you decline the cookie banner.
- Hosting and email delivery providers. Our Site is hosted on cloud infrastructure that delivers our pages and routes our transactional emails. These providers process your information solely to operate the service on our behalf.
We do not authorize these providers to use your information for their own marketing purposes.
6. Data Retention
We retain purchase records (email, Stripe IDs, purchase status, and entitlement data) for as long as is reasonably necessary to fulfill the order, provide access support, comply with tax and accounting rules, and resolve disputes. Customer-support emails are retained for a reasonable period after the issue is resolved.
Analysis usage logs are retained for up to 12 months from the date of the analysis, after which they are deleted or anonymized. Session data is retained only for the duration of your active session.
6A. Usage and Session Monitoring
The Product is licensed to a single user under the Terms of Use (Section 5). To protect the intellectual property in the Product and enforce this license, EDGE STACKS employs the following technical measures.
What We Collect
- Session data. When you log in and use the app, we track your active session, entitlement status, and account authentication state.
- Analysis usage logs. Each time you run an analysis, we record: the sport analyzed, a timestamp, and your account identifier. We use this to enforce daily analysis limits and detect abnormal usage patterns.
How We Use It
- Credential-sharing detection. If your account shows concurrent sessions or usage patterns inconsistent with personal use, our system may flag your account for review. Normal usage across your personal devices is expected and does not trigger any action.
- Daily limit enforcement. We enforce the daily analysis cap associated with your Season Pass tier to ensure fair usage.
What We Do Not Do
- We do not sell, share, or disclose usage-log data to any third party for marketing purposes.
- We do not use IP addresses to build location profiles or track your browsing across unrelated sites.
- We do not record the specific content of analysis outputs generated for you.
- We do not use session data for any purpose other than access enforcement and security.
Legal Basis
We process this data under our legitimate interest in protecting intellectual property and enforcing a paid license (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)), and under the contract formed when you agree to the Terms of Use at purchase (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)). If you are a California resident, this processing falls under the “security and integrity” and “enforce legal rights” exemptions of the CCPA/CPRA. Usage-log data is retained for up to 12 months, after which it is deleted or anonymized.
Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of usage-log data associated with your account by emailing [email protected].
7. Your Rights
Depending on where you live (for example, California under the CCPA/CPRA, or an EU/UK resident under GDPR), you may have the right to:
- Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate information.
- Request deletion of your information, subject to our legal obligations.
- Opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information (we do not engage in either).
To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected] from the address associated with your purchase. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the limited information we hold, including HTTPS everywhere on the Site, secure session management, and access controls on our databases. No online service can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, and you acknowledge that you use the Site at your own risk.
9. Children’s Privacy
The Site and products are intended only for adults age 21 or older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21. If we learn that we have collected information from someone under 21, we will delete it.
10. International Users
EDGE STACKS operates from the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be processed in the United States, which may have different data-protection laws than your country of residence.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Effective Date” at the top of this page. Material changes will also be announced on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
